Laurie Raye is a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society who, when not busy translating manuscripts, writes various short fiction. They have published material in the Lumin arts journal (https://luminjournal.com/), and one of their short storie has being performed as a play as part of the Made in Roath festival (https://iheartfflamingo.wixsite.com/fflamboyance/projects). Their other publications are in academic journals. Many of Laurie’s stories reflect their experiences as an LGBT+ person.
